"Emerald Forest" Vase
A colorful vase in Suzanne Kindland's "Emerald Forest" series. Suzanne uses complex applications of fritted and powdered colored glasses, and trailed on lines in varying thicknesses, against a backdrop of vivid greens to evoke a walk in the woods of late Spring. 5 5/8" wide and 9 1/2" high.
Caring for Your Glass
Cleaning - Any good commerical nonabrasive cleaner works well. A bath in lukewarm water with a few drops of mild detergent, followed by a rinse in lukewarm water is also a good method. Avoid using excessive pressure on thin pieces. Use lint free cloths in natural fibers.
Mineral Deposits - Our glass may be displayed or used. To prevent mineral deposits from building up in your vases, use distilled water and change it often. If spots do develop, soaking the piece in venegar and water can help.
A Word About Annealing - Annealing is not the same as tempering. Our glass should never be used for cooking. Avoid using hot water for cleaning.
